We’re looking for someone who is deeply enthusiastic about MERN-based services and has experience in a similar role.
You should be someone whose expertise results in stable, fast, and secure data exchange between servers and end-users.
Payatu is a leading security service and training organization specializing in IoT, mobile, cloud, application security services, and code audits / secure SDLC.
Build and maintain user interfaces using React.js, ensuring responsiveness and good UX.
Develop server-side logic using Node.js and Express.js.
Design, create, and manage database schemas using MongoDB.
Integrate front-end with backend via RESTful APIs.
Debug, test, and fix bugs; write unit / integration tests where applicable.
Participate in code reviews and follow best practices for code quality / documentation.
Ensure performance, security, and scalability in code and architecture.
Collaborate with other team members (design, QA, product) in agile / sprint-based workflow.
Stay up-to-date with new tools, libraries, and technologies relevant to the MERN ecosystem.
Pursuing or recently completed degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Solid foundation in JavaScript, HTML, CSS.
Basic familiarity with React (components, state/props, hooks etc.)
Basic understanding of Node.js & Express.js.
Understanding of databases and experience or interest in working with MongoDB (NoSQL).
Familiarity with version control tools (e.g. Git).
Good problem-solving skills, eagerness to learn, and ability to work in a team.
Experience building complete projects (school/college projects / personal / open-source) using the MERN stack.
Knowledge of state management libraries (Redux, Context API etc.)
Understanding of authentication/authorization, security best practices
Familiarity with deployment, CI/CD pipelines, cloud services (AWS, Heroku, etc.)
Responsive design / CSS frameworks or UI libraries (Bootstrap, Material UI, Tailwind etc.)
Testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.)
Hands-on experience working on real, production-like web applications.
Mentorship from experienced software engineers.
Exposure to full-stack web development, including front-end, back-end, & database.
Learning modern workflow practices (Git, code reviews, agile methodology).
